PHIL 204 - Ethics3 HU New Course added 05/09/2006 First Semester. The goal of this course is to examine the point of moral philosophy. Various answers will be suggested by a close reading of philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Mill, Nietzsche, and G.E. Moore, among others. We will explore several important ethical theories and investigate the nature of concepts like value, virtue, right, good, reason, respect, equality, self-interest, and autonomy. Assignments for the course include three papers and a final exam. (V) Enrollment Limit: 33 Mr. Bell
