ARTS 070 - Problems in: Painting, Narrative and the Contemporary Figure

Second Semester. Students must have completed one course in drawing and painting, and have had some experience working with oil paint and from a live model before this course. You will work from live models and from your imaginations. We will look at the way the human figure is used by a number of contemporary artists and study the form and content that drive contemporary figure painting.
