HPRF 312 - Special Topics in Performance Practice

Second Semester. First Module. Topic: Bach and the Clavichord.
For all keyboard majors (piano, harpsichord, or organ). The clavichord was the instrument Bach used with his beginning keyboard students. It's hard to play - but it's the best possible practice instrument: you can't get away wtih anything! We'll be working our way through the Two-Part Inventions.

One group meeting and one individual meeting per week, schedule TBD.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: HPRF 302 (or MHST 302). Also see HPRF 512.
Note: May be repeated for credit if the topic changes
