ARTS 468 - Illuminated Manuscripts in Oberlin Collections

Second semester.  This class will begin to catalogue Oberlin's significant collection of medieval and Renaissance miniatures. After learning fundamental skills in researching and describing manuscripts, students will be assigned one or more works to research. As most of the works are fragments from larger wholes, we will be particularly concerned with finding related material.
