ARTS 311 - Egyptian Art and Architecture

First Semester. This survey course will provide a basic outline of ancient Egyptian culture from the perspective of the visual arts and architecture from the redynastic Period through Roman times (4,000 B.C. to A.D. 300) as well as discuss the influence of Egyptian art and architecture on later periods of western culture.
