ENGL 365 - American DramaSemester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 4 Hours Attribute: 4 HU, WR Selected works of major American playwrights. Emphasis will be placed on close reading, as well as on the significance of each play in regard to political and social movements of the time and the evolution of the American theater. Among the playwrights to be considered: Odets, O’Neill, Williams, Hellman, Albee, Shepard, Baraka, Bullins, Fornes, Kushner. American, Post-1900. Diversity. Enrollment Limit: 25. Instructor: C.
