This course will consider the constitutional issues surrounding the prosecution of crime in America. A previous course in constitutional law is helpful but is not required. Topics include due process, police searches, the right to counsel, and sentencing and incarceration. Class participation is essential and is a component of each student’s grade. Enrollment Limit: 30.
