This course surveys major theories and research traditions in social psychology. Topics include social perception, interpersonal attraction, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, aggression, the self, and helping behavior. Class discussions and assignments are structured to promote the application of social psychological phenomena to current events and to our everyday lives.  Enrollment Limit: 40.
