BIOL 205 - Community EcologyNext Offered: 2009-2010Semester Offered: First Semester Credits (Range): 4 Hours Attribute: 4 NS, Wri This course is a study of the natural patterns and processes that occur between and among species. Lecture topics include diversity, symbiosis, succession and island biogeography. Readings from the primary literature are the focus of weekly classroom discussions and writing assignments. Labs include weekly field trips to familiarize students with local natural communities, field techniques and the scientific process. Enrollment Limit: 14. Instructor: M. Garvin Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: BIOL 120 and consent of instructor.
