LOND 941 - Travel, Writing and English TraitsSemester Offered: First Semester Credits (Range): 2 Hours Attribute: 2 HU, WR Using Ralph Waldo Emerson’s English Traits (1856) as a starting-point, this course considers what happens when American scholars travel to and try to understand England. Students will be encouraged to explore various forms of writing, from letters to blogs, and will produce an up-to-date version of “English traits” based on their own experiences. Instructor: T. S.
