DANC 221 - Body Re-educationSemester Offered: First Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3HU This course focuses on the relationship of mind and body in affecting physical change to re-educate and align the body. Students will explore functional anatomy through readings and movement sessions as well as analyzing personal alignment and movement patterns. A body-based language describing and analyzing movement, anatomy, and imagery is used in the movement sessions. Readings are assigned. Enrollment Limit: 15 Instructor: D. Vogel Consent of the Instructor Required? Yes Prerequisites & Notes Students on the wait list must attend the first class meeting in order to be considered for any openings. Prerequisite: DANC 100 or DANC 113. |
