The Vermilion River and its tributaries have been carving into the northern Ohio landscape for over 10,000 years. This course will examine the life forms and natural processes that occur in and along the river through weekly field trips, visual arts, readings, and discussions. Field notes and weekly writing assignments will be discussed in class and with the instructor during individual appointments
