ARTS 344 - Methods of Art HistorySemester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3HU This seminar will examine the theories and methods practiced in art history. Based around close readings of key texts from antiquity to the present, we will consider topics such as: iconography/iconology, semiotics, identity politics, formalism, deconstruction, psychoanalysis, feminism, Marxism, and gender studies.
