This course is designed to introduce silkscreen processes and their intersection with digital media. Assignments are structured to expand the understanding of art through the exploration of contemporary art and design issues. Students will be asked to interpret assignments and are encouraged to develop their own ideas relative to the medium. The course is structured with technical demonstrations, out of class assignments, group critiques and contextual research assignments.
