This is a studio course and part of the OASIS program. This upper-level workshop will focus on the intergration of dance, music, and media. Of specific interest will the 'dance for the camera,' which we will examine through viewings, lectures, and discussion. Class projects will be realized by collaborative teams and will draw on both fixed-media and real-time techniques in combining electroacoustic music, movement, and digital media. Field trips to performences are required.

Prerequisites & Notes: This course is part of the OASIS '14 program. Only students in that program may register for this course. Consent is required. Contact instructor to learn more about OASIS '14. Field trips to dance concerts at the Wexner Center are required for this course. DANC 222 or DANC 207 are prerequisites for this course.
