LATN 309 - ApuleiusSemester Offered: First Semester Full Course Credits: 4 Credits Attribute: 4HU, CD In this course we will study the only complete Latin novel to have survived from antiquity, Apuleius' Metamorphoses (better known as 'The Golden Ass'). We will engage the complex stylistics of Apuleius' Latin, and consider the cultural context of Roman North Africa in the 2nd century C.E.
