This course investigates revolutionary dynamics and the formation of post-revolutionary states from the colonial period to the present. It focuses on states such as Egypt, Syria, Libya, Iran, and Tunisia. It covers crucial themes such as the role of military, ideologies, peaceful tactics of protests, Islamic movements and parties, economic transformations, use of technology in mobilization, and constitution writing.
