DANC 221 - Body Re-educationSemester Offered: First Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4HU This course focuses on the relationship of mind and body in affecting physical change to re-educate and align the body. Students will explore functional anatomy through readings and movement sessions as well as analyzing personal alignment and movement patterns. A body-based language describing and analyzing movement, anatomy, and imagery is used in the movement sessions. Readings are assigned. Enrollment Limit: 20 Instructor: D. Vogel Consent of the Instructor Required: Yes Prerequisites & Notes Students on the wait list must attend the first class meeting in order to be considered for any openings. This course is restricted to dancers in the fall and athletes in the spring. Prerequisite: DANC 100 or DANC113 |
