NSCI 201 - The Brain: An Introduction to NeuroscienceSemester Offered: First Semester, Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4NS An introductory course in neuroscience that familiarizes students with concepts and information central to work in the neurosciences. Students will learn the basics of brain structure and function at molecular, cellular and systems levels. This foundation will be used to explore a number of behavioral and applied topics. Enrollment Limit: 95 Instructor: T. Paine, S. Robinson, L. Kwakye, J. Thornton Prerequisites & Notes Second year or above or BIOL 100, or AP Biology score 4 or 5 or consent of the instructor. Neuroscience majors should consider taking the accompanying laboratory course NSCI 211. |
