This course is an introduction to digital practices within contemporary art. Students will engage in practical assignments, exploring relationships between analog and digital art forms; assignments are based on issues within contemporary art. Students work with integrated media to present their ideas. Integrated media may be the space where digital imaging and video intersects with established art practices. The course is structured with technical demonstrations, out of class assignments, critiques and contextual research assignments.
