CRWR 321 - Modular Prose Narratives

This course examines how modular narratives are built and why authors choose to work within this modality. Reading and writing assignments cover a variety of modular forms including the compendium, the collage, the braided narrative told from multiple points of view, and the illustrated narrative. Early in the term, the writing assignments will be based on prompts generated by the readings, with opportunity for more independent work during the latter part of the semester.
