Topics include: Biblical society, Hellenistic and Roman rule; sects of the Second Temple period, including Jesus-followers; rabbinic Judaism; Jewish attitudes to non-Jews and to governing authorities, attitudes of Christianity, Islam, Judaism to one another, and Jewish responses
