THEA 100 - Acting 1: Fundamentals Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3HU
The focus of this class is on developing specific techniques basic to American acting traditions (conversational reality; executing activities; playing intentions) and applying these skills in contemporary scene work. Intended for first- and second-year students. Auditions (prepare one- to two-minute contemporary monologue) will be scheduled during orientation week for fall semester sections and during the week preceding registration for spring semester.
