ARTS 805 - History of Renaissance Art

The course covers the visual arts and architecture of several artistic centers of Tuscany from 1280-to 1575 ca. with a detailed study of the main collections of art, churches, cathedrals, palaces, theatres paintings, ceramics, and sculptures of Arezzo and Florence. Illustrated lectures, readings, and assignments with visits to the historic monuments and museums of Arezzo and to other regional centers.
