DANC 203 - Somatic Landscapes Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3HU, WR Somatic Landscapes begins with the premise that we live in the world through our bodies. Thus, if we want to become conscious of our relationship to the earth, we must first become mindful of our bodies. This course uses both academic analysis and physical sensation to cultivate a curiosity about what we might learn from our experience of place. Moving beyond the geographical location of the college, we will include the larger Oberlin community and landscape as our classroom. Enrollment Limit: 15 Instructor: A. Albright Consent of the Instructor Required: Yes
