ECON 219 - Labor-Management Relations This course may also count for the major in (consult the program or department major requirements) : Law and Society Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3SS, QP-H, WR An introduction to the problems of labor economics and industrial relations, primarily in the United States. Emphasis is placed on the growth of the labor force, wages, the increased importance of white-collar employment, the goals of labor and management, collective bargaining and major issues of public policy.
