LRNS 114 - Communication Skills II: Public Speaking Semester Offered: Second Semester, Second Module Credits (Range): 1 hour Attribute: 1EX This course offers an introduction to public speaking. Public speaking skills and theories that were first studied and practiced in ancient Greece, which are still widely used today, along with methods and practices that have been developed since will be introduced. Students will gain practical experience in self-presentation, organization and dissemination of information, speech delivery, language usage, audience analysis, persuasion, and speaking in a diverse world.
