ARTS 020 - Materials and Methods Semester Offered: First Semester, Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4HU
This course is the team-taught entryway to the Studio and Visual Arts major. It is structured as an introduction to materials, studio practice, and concepts that are the foundation of the Studio curriculum. Thematically structured assignments spanning 2D, 3D, and Time-based Media provide an interdisciplinary foundation for building visual literacy that emphasizes exploration over disciplinary specialization.
