This course builds on the fundamental skills introduced in Scene Design 1 and puts them to use creating sets for various pieces. Emphasis is on how to represent these works onstage, through in depth reading and interpreting of the scripts or librettos. Projects will promote creative and imaginative thinking and how best to translate and articulate these ideas both visually and verbally to directors, fellow designers, and audiences.
