The course will explore the nature, sources, and role of law in international relations; participants in the international legal system, questions of jurisdiction, enforcement, rights, norms, liability, dispute settlement and the connection of domestic to international law. The course will also consider the role of major multilateral treaties and institutions and new developments in changing areas such as international criminal law and the law of intellectual property. Enrollment Limit: 35 Instructor: B. Schiff Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: One course in international relations.
