This seminar offers an introduction to a body of queer political thought that critically investigates the dominant liberal ideal of the free and rational subject. It focuses both upon foundational thinkers and more recent queer theory. The seminar seeks to investigate what may come beyond liberalism and what are the limits of queer politics. Enrollment Limit: 15 Instructor: B. Popa Prerequisites & Notes One course in Political Theory or an equivalent. Not recommended for first and second years.
