Designed for ENVS majors whose curricular pathways are outside the NSCI division. Students considering a biology major or the full range of upper-level biology courses should take the BIOL core. This course provides a foundation in biological content and concepts in the context of environmental problems, from molecular/cellular levels to ecosystems. Lectures will be augmented with individual and group activities. Enrollment Limit: 40 Instructor: R. Laushman Prerequisites & Notes Thirty seats are reserved for ENVS majors, with remaining seats for first- and second-year students. Students who have passed BIOL 100 or 200 (formerly102) are not eligible for this course.
