CRWR 296 - Books Behaving Badly: Narrative Innovations Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Credits: 4 Credits Attribute: 4HU, WADV
This course will examine innovations in textual narrative with an emphasis on a hands-on exploration of contemporary fictional practices by authors from disparate geographies, including but not limited to, parts of the former British Empire and Francophone Africa. Students will analyze published works of fiction that seek to both challenge and reinvigorate our conventional understanding of textual narrative and its basic techniques as well as produce their own original works. Enrollment Limit: 18 Instructor: D. Gromadzki Prerequisites & Notes Students should have taken at least one literature or Creative Writing course.
