DANC 221 - Body Re-education Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4HU
This course focuses on the relationship of mind and body in affecting physical change to re-educate and align the body. Students will explore functional anatomy through readings and movement sessions as well as analyzing personal alignment and movement patterns. A body-based language describing and analyzing movement, anatomy, and imagery is used in the movement sessions. Readings are assigned. Enrollment Limit: 20 Instructor: J. Notes: This course counts for the Somatic Studies requirement for the Dance major or minor.
