ARTS 049 - Visual Concepts and Processes: Sculpture Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4HU
Students will explore the basics of three-dimensional space using paper, sound, cardboard, plaster, wood and found objects. Concepts such as form, texture, scale, and proportion, will be covered. An introduction to basic mold making techniques will be covered. Weekly homework assignments will expand upon classroom projects. Required forms of participation include critiques, weekly discussions, reading assignments and one presentation.
