ARBC 102 - Beginning Arabic II Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4HU, CD
This is the second introductory course to Arabic language and culture and provides a wider range of introductory topics. We will continue to build on the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) gradually and systematically by discussing topics such as housing, shopping, education and/or study, and professions, etc. By the end of the semester, students will have reached the Novice High/Intermediate Low proficiency level in Arabic according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines 2012. Students at this sublevel are able to handle a variety of basic communicative tasks about topics related to basic personal information, some daily activities and personal preferences as well as some immediate needs.

Prerequisites & Notes: ARBC 101 or equivalent.
