JAZZ 204 - Stage, Story, and SongHC CNDP 2 credits The goal of this course is to raise awareness and understanding of the importance and internal aspects of honest storytelling in vocal performance. The course will teach students how to effectively understand and interpret lyrics, as well as incorporate personalized stage presence techniques into their performance. In addition to dealing with the outward physical concerns of performance presentation, the course will also address issues such as vocal health, conquering stage fright, working and communicating with fellow musicians, proper microphone technique, and the breaking of bad habits.
