Office For Disability and Access

The Office for Disability and Access (ODA) facilitates equal access to all programs, courses, services, facilities, and activities provided at Oberlin College and Conservatory while encouraging students to develop self-advocacy. The ODA supports Oberlin’s long and rich history of recognizing and supporting diversity by providing resources for students with disabilities. The office also supports the Oberlin mission, aiming to include students with disabilities in the diverse and inclusive residential learning environment.

The ODA oversees the Executive Functioning (EF) Program which offers peer tutors who work with students to empower them to take control of their learning. Peer tutors work on fundamental skills related to executive functioning, including adaptable thinking, planning, self-monitoring, self-control, working memory, time management, and organizational skills. The ODA Accommodated Testing Center provides a professional, equitable, and safe space for eligible students to complete their exams.
