Student Leadership and Involvement

The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement creates a sense of community by providing opportunities that support the development of the whole student outside of the classroom. The programs and services strive to meet the social, cultural, educational, spiritual, and recreational needs of all members of the Oberlin College community. With more than 125 groups from which to choose, Oberlin has a rich and diverse collection of student organizations that support creativity and the free exchange of ideas and opinions.

Free transportation is offered through the ObieExpress shuttle for travel to locations around the greater Cleveland area. Oberlin’s YeoFit program, which is a health and wellness program designed to energize, empower, and engage the college community, consists of a variety of wellness and fitness events held throughout the year. Popular on-campus student venues include the college bowling lanes, Cat in the Cream Coffeehouse, Dionysus Disco, and WOBC-FM community radio.
