Application for Admission

Undergraduate students apply to either division using the Common Application. The College of Arts and Sciences also accepts the Coalition/Scoir Application and QuestBridge Application. Links to applications for all degree and program types can be found on the admissions web pages. Students must submit these applications electronically; applications are typically available after August 1.

Oberlin enrolls first-year students in the fall semester and transfer students in the fall or spring semesters.

The College of Arts and Sciences offers three decision plans for first-year applicants: Early Decision (a binding application), Early Action, and Regular Decision. The Conservatory of Music offers Early Decision (a binding application) and Regular Decision.

  • College of Arts and Sciences, Regular Decision
• April 1
  • College of Arts and Sciences fall semester transfer applicants
• June 1
  • Conservatory of Music: Master of Fine Arts in Piano Technology
