3 SS First Semester. An introduction to national environmental policy with emphasis on major issues of climate change, the loss of biodiversity, and the issues of growth. The course includes discussion of regulatory policies, taxes, market solutions, and other policy options applied to energy policy, transportation policy, endangered species, and materials use. This course is cross-reference with ENVS 208.
Prerequisites & Notes Recommended Preparation: One course in politics or environmental studies.
