PSYC 224 - Psychology of Gender 3 SS New Course Added 04/19/2006
Second Semester. This course examines the acquisition and expression of gender over the lifespan. Our focus will range from biologically based sex differences to the socialization and enculturation processes that help transform biological females and males into gendered individuals. Issues of identity, social behavior, achievement, agency, interpersonal relationships, and mental health will be considered in light of relevant concepts from developmental and social psychology.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: PSYC 100.
