PSYC 218 - Social Psychology


3 SS
First and Second Semester. This course surveys major theories and research traditions in social psychology. Topics covered will include: interpersonal attraction, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, and helping behavior. Assignments are designed to encourage students to apply the ideas of social psychology to their own and others’ behavior. Research methodologies in social psychology will also be covered.

Prerequisite: PSYC 100.
