RELG 218 - Christian Thought and Action: Reformation and Modern
3 HUNew Course added 05/15/2006 Second Semester. An interpretive study of the western Christian tradition from the 14th to the 17th centuries. The focus will be on the background and development of Christian thought as expressed through the Protestant and Catholic reformations. The course will present debates concerning human free will, sin, grace, and authority. These questions will be addressed within their social, intellectual, and historical contexts.
