3 HU Second Semester. This is an intensive course designed to increase the actor’s physical awareness of space and rhythm while creating relationship and character. Students will engage in movement exercises, improvisations, and scene work in order to engage in the pursuit of emotional and physical “actions” onstage. Through readings and discussions, we will also work to identify obstacles and objectives in developing an actor’s process that allows them being fully present and committed to what is going on “in the moment”.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: THEA 200, and consent of instructor. Limit: 12.
