BIOL 314 - Cell Physiological Research 1-2 NS New Course added 11/13/2006 (as a lab course only)
Second Semester. Students in this laboratory course pursue a semester-long research project that develops students’ mastery of research techniques and approaches drawn from molecular biology and genetics (e.g., RNA-interference, mutagenesis, suppressor analysis, and immunofluorescence), as well as students’ skills at designing, performing, and then communicating experiments. Students may earn 2 credits by committing two afternoons per week to their project.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Biol 214.
Consent of instructor required.
