ARTS 047 - Visual Concepts and Processes: Painting
3 HU Second Semester. This course will examine the medium of paint as a contemporary venue. While the course is designed to enhance the student’s understanding of perceptual painting and methods, the intent is to integrate social and cultural concerns and processes into the discourse of painting. We will facilitate these issues through four (painting, installation, collage, and performance based) projects. Readings, critiques, and one oral presentation required.
