LOND 913 - Ethnic Arts and Artists in London 3 HU/3 SS, CD
Second Semester. The aesthetic and political importance of the visual arts and material culture of London¹s diverse population is the subject of this course. The class will consider the work of traditional and folk artists as well as contemporary fine artists specifically engaged with issues of identity, race, gender, immigration, and other social and political concerns in contemporary London.
