CINE 340 - Technology and Contemporary American Culture

Innovation in technology is often seen as either a starry dream or a dystopian nightmare. This course seeks to move beyond such polarized judgments by looking closely at representations of technology in film, literature, visual art, and electronic resources as well as critical and theoretical works on technology and aesthetic and social experience. Enrollment Limit: 25.
