Networks are a central part of any modern computing system. This course will first consider the design of contemporary local and wide-area networks in terms of their abstract layers (i.e. the TCP/IP and OSI reference models) and then focus on actual implementations of those layers. The course will include a study of the protocols used in the Internet. Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: CSCI 210, CSCI 241 recommended or consent of the instructor
